#1 Brightness and light sensor
The most important property of the monitor is the brightness. While indoor monitors use 350 to 700 candela (which is the unit in which brightness is measured), outdoors we use screens with 2500 to 4000 candela. This ensures that in direct sunlight or brightness from other light sources, the content can still be seen very well.
All of our outdoor screens are equipped with a light sensor. These measure the ambient brightness and adjust the brightness of the monitor. This saves electricity and is good for the environment.
#2 Continuous operation and fire protection
Another important feature of the monitors is the ability to run them in continuous operation. Even if you choose to turn the monitors off at night, it is important that the monitors bring this feature with them. The topic of fire protection and the topic of durability.
#3 Protection for weather and vandalism
Now you can't just hang the screens out there. For this we use protective housings. These can either be wall-mounted or free-standing in a variety of sizes, colors and shapes. These protect your screens from the elements or vandalism.
#4 Fan and heater
There's a lot of technology in a case like this. For example, an active fan system, a climate control unit, heating and front panel ventilation. All this ensures that you can use your screen outdoors all year round.
#5 Systems
There are several types of protective enclosures. For example, you can mount the whole thing on the wall. Here you have the choice between portrait and landscape format and a selection of different sizes. There are also the stand systems, so-called steles.
