Citizens' services in the city of Ulm: more digital, less stress

Citizens' services in the city of Ulm: more digital, less stress

13.2.2019

As of now, there is a new contact point for the citizens of Ulm: the service center of the municipal citizen services.

The central service center improves service through short distances and longer opening hours. A digital concept was also developed at the new location, displaying ticketing and on-site information on modern screen systems. In each of the waiting areas, at least one 49" screen was harmoniously built into the back wall of the benches.

Via our VisuScreen cloud software, the content is designed and updated by the advertising department of the city of Ulm. An area of the monitors shows the current tickets, which are called up by the clerks. As soon as the citizen has arrived at the counter or the respective office, the call goes out automatically.

In the entrance area at the information desk, two 49" screen systems also provide information about the number of people currently waiting. Attention is also drawn here to the online services.

A 32" screen system was mounted on the mailbox in an outdoor enclosure.
