The classic service station has long since ceased to be a place where it's all about gasoline. The store business is now one of the most important sources of revenue, and customers' needs and expectations are growing all the time.

This means that service station operators face similar challenges to those of a supermarket: the range of products and advertising must be up to date, and customers expect full shelves, modern catering concepts and more varied additional offers.

The goal in the next few years is clear: to emotionally charge the image of the "gas station" with new concepts and enable positive customer experiences.

Our solution approach: "Digital Signage". The advantages are obvious: digital advertising systems are more cost-efficient than printed offer boards and offer the possibility to adjust prices, offers or promotions immediately depending on availability, time of day or season. And the most important thing here - movement creates attention, moving images inspire and arouse emotions. This ensures purchase incentives and spontaneous buying decisions.

For us, the simple, central maintenance and design of the content plays a decisive role. After all, in the long run, it's no use hanging up digital advertising systems and only being able to maintain them with difficulty.

Constantly adapted to the wishes and needs of service station operators and retailers, we offer a cloud-based software solution called VisuScreen. This year, we also integrated an interface to HUTH POS systems. This means that content such as product descriptions and promotional prices are automatically loaded onto the advertising systems.

Among other things, this gives service station operators the opportunity to communicate with their customers directly during the refueling process. The multimedia dispensers show current wash actions on an integrated screen, while the fuel type, price and dispenser number are displayed on the other half.

The combination of advertising content and information at the car washes is just as effective. Cross-references to current store offers generate additional purchases and the wash pricing can be designed as flexibly as possible. Large weather-resistant LED pylons, which significantly enhance the station's appearance, are also in vogue.
